The Opportunity

We’re looking for a bright and charismatic Senior Marketing Manager to oversee our marketing function and take ownership of all external communications, content and collateral creation, managing the budget, ensuring brand consistency etc. You will be responsible for growth of the Maison Privee brand through online and offline channels, so should be proficient in technical digital marketing whilst having a creative outlook for bigger picture marketing activities.

You will manage several external partners (PR, web development etc.) and will be required to ensure that Maison Privee gets the greatest possible return from these relationships. You will also be responsible for growing and developing the current marketing team along with potential future hires as we scale.

The role will report to the MD.

Key Accountabilities

  • Creating and managing Google AdWords and paid social campaigns internally.

  • Finding a supplier and managing the development of a new website and booking engine.

  • Taking full ownership of the marketing budget and mapping out a clear ROI focused strategy before any expenditure.

  • Creating and executing an organic social media strategy.

  • Finding creative ways to leverage Maison Privee guests and drive user-generated content.

  • Analysing regional and global competition and staying up to date with industry best practices.

  • Handling all external communications and managing a PR supplier by reviewing all copy to ensure the Maison Privee brand is represented positively and consistently in the media at all times.

  • Creating collateral at short notice for the sales team.

  • Being the internal and external brand champion to avoid any instances of brand creep occurring.

  • Growing and developing one marketing executive within your current team.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience with at least 2 years experience leading a marketing function and owning a budget.

  • Experience in SME’s or start-ups is critical.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Excellent written English skills as you will be responsible for all external communications.

  • Experience using Hubspot, Wix and Mailchimp is preferred.

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud is beneficial.

  • Goal-oriented. You take job satisfaction from hitting very ambitious growth targets.

  • Personable and empathetic. You’re capable and confident in explaining to homeowners we are best placed to handle their most precious commodity, their homes.

  • Sound judgement, even under pressure, with a thick skin and ability to roll with the punches that come in this industry.

  • Commercial acumen and negotiation skills. An analytical approach to portfolio management and growing profitable supply.

  • Great communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Flexibility. This role is fast paced and goals and targets can change. You are adaptable and amenable to change.

  • Role is based in Dubai.
