The Opportunity

Maison Privee is now hiring a Revenue & Reservations Manager to oversee the reservations team and to ensure that guest enquiries and bookings are dealt with in an expeditious and satisfactory manner. The role will also assist in delivering optimized revenue and occupancy across the apartments under our management. The Revenue & Reservations Manager is responsible for the development and management of all online and offline distributions channels and for the execution of strategic and tactical revenue strategy; maximizing revenue through effective pricing and inventory management.


  • Manage the reservations team and function to ensure all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner

  • Prepares work schedules and team rosters to ensure coverage of workloads

  • Ensure that the team handle reservations, inquiries and cancellations in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner

  • Ensure that the team quote available rates to maximize room revenue according to company standards

  • Coordinate with clients and Guest Relations Team of Maison Privee for bookings, room availabilities, and extra services

  • Ensure close alignment with Revenue Management to optimise revenues and occupancies

  • Manage all customer interactions from initial enquiry to in-country arrival while liaising with operations to ensure a smooth and prepared handover of guest management on the ground

  • Responsible for administration and management of appropriate business analytical tools, and the accuracy of all revenue and sales data as input into the system

  • Development and analysis of competitive reports and formulate appropriate strategies through use of appropriate data sets

  • Identify and develop new sales leads, meet with corporate clients, travel agencies, DMC's etc to grow offline sales

  • Identify and implement an appropriate PMS including integration of channel management system and ongoing management of in-house booking engine and third party channels

  • Define and implement an agreed sales plan

  • Determine and implement opportunities for upselling of ancillary services and ensure reservation team actively deliver to targets

  • Ensure that all reservations are captured into the system according to standard operating procedures

  • Develop appropriate performance management metrics, set targets and generate reports for management 

  • Formulate overall pricing structure, provide guidance on corporate negotiated pricing, wholesale pricing and acceptance

  • Ensure effective pricing strategies are in place to reflect asset strength relative to the competition in the market

  • Effectively manage inventory and pricing strategy through all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party OTA's and GDS

  • Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand the impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance

  • Pro-actively identify soft spot periods and prepare a soft spot revenue management plan

  • Responsible for development and effective implementation of Revenue Management Standards, Policies & Procedures (Rate Plans, Rate Categories, Market Segmentation, Profiles and all other PMS related Revenue Management functionality)

  • All Rate Solicitations acted upon in a timely manner and rate plans maintained and extended as appropriate. The Revenue & Reservations Manager has sole responsibility for the quality of all pricing setup in the PMS system

  • Responsible for the preparation of 30-60-90 days forecasts within the Revenue Plan on a monthly basis. Also responsible for preparation of the 'mid-month forecast, following the close of each calendar month

  • Deliver revenue against agreed targets and objectives

  • Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and mix management

  • Ensure quality of work provided meets the expectations of the company

  • Perform other relevant assignments as requested

  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

  • Provide regular reporting to ensure other team members as well as management are fully informed of the latest actions and information

Skills & Experience

To be an effective Reservations Agent, the candidate must demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 6-year experience in a similar role with a 5- star hotel or holiday home operator required

  • Minimum 2-year experience in a revenue management role within a hotel or holiday home operator in the UAE.

  • Bachelors degree

  • Fluent English mandatory 

  • Responsible, motivated, team player 

  • Strong business orientation in three aptitudes:
    - Diagnosis & analysis (analytical mind, conceptual skills, good environment understanding);
    - Share his/her conviction (driving force, relational skills, highly committed);
