We hand pick luxury properties in the best locations and support them with extensive services to ensure that our guests have the best possible experience with every stay. We take care of our guests with complete hospitality services, including checking in/out, leveraging our 24/7 support team for any questions or troubleshooting during the stay, offering concierge services, and utilising our professional cleaning services with fresh linens, towels, and toiletries between stays.

The Opportunity

Maison Privee is now hiring a Reservations Agent to deal with all our guest enquiries and bookings in an expeditious and satisfactory manner. 


  • Handle reservations, inquiries and cancellations in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner

  • Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a fast-paced environment

  • Maximise room rates according to company standards

  • Coordinate with clients and Guest Relations Team of Maison Privee for bookings, room availabilities, and extra services

  • Responding quickly to calls and general enquiries to ensure guests are not kept waiting

  • Providing each Maison Privee guest a personal booking experience

  • Ensure close alignment with Revenue Management to optimise revenues and occupancies

  • Actively deliver to targets

  • Ensure that all reservations are captured into the system according to standard operating procedures

  • Prioritising tasks and communicate effectively with colleagues which is essential for the daily running of the operations

  • Managing difficult communications with valued guests who are unsatisfied with our service, product or resolution offered

  • Collaborating effectively with the Marketing Team to upsell any specific property

  • Working on other tasks or ad-hoc projects/activities as required

Skills & Experience

To be an effective Reservations Agent, the candidate must demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in a similar role with a 5* hotel or holiday home operator required - strong sales skills critical

  • Bachelors degree or diploma

  • Fluent English mandatory 

  • Ability to work in shifts based on rotating weekly roster. Our guests touch down from dawn until dusk, including on weekends and holidays.

  • Comfortable using all Online Travel Agencies's platforms

  • Responsible and motivated

  • Strong work ethic

  • Must possess a customer first mentality

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with numbers and presentations

  • Able to take on a task and see it through to completion

  • Strong communication, consultative and negotiation skills

  • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems on the fly without having to seek assistance

  • The ability to handle pressure

  • Skill in prioritising and managing multiple tasks at the same time

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent time management and organisation
