Maison Privee inks property management partnership with Homes & Villas by Marriott International in Middle East first

Maison Privee is the first vacation rental operator in the Middle East region to join the ‘Homes & Villas by Marriott International’ platform

Maison Privee is immensely proud to announce that it has signed a property management partnership agreement with Homes & Villas by Marriott International, following a stringent due diligence exercise, seeing it become the first vacation rental operator in the Middle East to join the platform.

Launched in 2019, Homes & Villas by Marriott International is a curated platform of over 35,000 premium and luxury vacation rentals in over 250 destinations around the world. Each home is handpicked to be listed on the platform and must meet Marriott International’s high standards of design, cleanliness, safety and service.

Maison Privee manages a large portfolio of luxury villas, penthouses and apartments, offered as vacation rentals, in the UAE. The company was recognised as the first vacation rental firm in the Middle East to win at the 27th edition of the World Travel Awards 2020, following this up with a win for the second year in a row, in 2021. The company was also recognised as Best Holiday Home Rentals Company in the Middle East at the International Travel Awards, 2021. Originating in the glamourous environs of Dubai, the company has expanded its portfolio to include the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi, in recent months.

Managing Director, Paul Mallee, said: “Partnering with Homes & Villas by Marriott International is a significant milestone for Maison Privee and reflects the strength of the product offering delivered by the team”. The exacting standards set by Marriott International are a key component of the evaluation process. “Our aim was always to redefine the short-term accommodation sector and to deliver a world-class experience for our guests. This partnership endorses our efforts to achieve this goal,” he added.

The vacation rental sector has seen exceptional growth in recent months as guests seek the natural seclusion and privacy offered by properties in residential communities. With global growth in the sector expected to continue post-COVID-19, the outlook for the category is very strong.

Mallee continued: “Being a multi-award winning vacation rental operator, with deep relationships amongst the worlds very best hospitality companies, is a testament to the hard work and efforts of our entire team to curate and manage an absolute gold standard vacation rental portfolio. Property owners entrust us with the management of their investments, and we deliver for them by ensuring that our guests recognise us as the go-to vacation rental provider in the region.” Maison Privee guests, booking through the Homes & Villas by Marriott International platform, will enjoy all of the benefits and privileges of the Marriott Bonvoy program, being able to earn and redeem points along the way.

With hundreds of properties already under management in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Maison Privee continues to expand rapidly and is currently rolling out its model regionally as well as internationally.

Vacation rentals are quickly becoming the preferred accommodation choice for travellers, staycationers and extended-stay guests with the sector now the fastest growing within the global hospitality space. In June 2020, Maison Privee became the first vacation rental company to be awarded the World Travel and Tourism Council [WTTC] Safe Stamp. The Safe Stamp award endorses that specific health and hygiene protocols, outlined by WTTC, have been implemented, acting as an additional layer of assurance for guests to experience safe travels.

Having raised USD$4 million in Series A funding in 2018, the business has established itself as a leading player in the vacation rental sector in the Middle East region and has continued on its planned growth trajectory whilst delivering an exceptional experience for its guests.
