MULTI SKILLED TECHNICIAN
DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (FULL TIME)

The Opportunity
Maison Privee require a highly experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer in who is a self-motivated individual, able to provide end to end customer service for home maintenance requests. The Multi-Skilled Engineer will respond to requests for repairs and maintenance across a wide variety of tasks in our properties across Dubai.

Work collaboratively within the team

Plan maintenance activities proactively as well as respond to emergency issues
-
Ensure that all necessary spare parts, materials and equipment are available
-
Investigate and establish causes of all breakdowns and damages
-
Be proactive in ensuring good health and safety
Complete all assigned general repairs and minor installations at properties in assigned region including but not limited to:
-
Lock changes
-
Painting and stucco works
-
Shower installations and repairs
-
Installation of wall hangings and light fixings
-
Minor A/C system maintenance/repairs
-
Door hanging
-
Furniture assembly and removals
-
Minor plumbing and electrical works and;
-
Any other general maintenance duties
Skills & Experience
-
You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent, ONC mechanical/electrical Engineering, BTEC level 3 in Mechanical & Electrical/Electronic Engineering)

Ideally, IEE qualification up to 17th edition Wiring Regulations

Experience within a maintenance background

Understanding of Health and Safety and Statutory responsibilities

Possess excellent communication skills

Demonstrate assertiveness
-
Organised approach, able to meet deadlines

Decision making skills
-
Can do attitude to your work
-
Minimum of 3 years experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel chain
-
Must have valid UAE drivers licence
Languages
English (fluent).
